Getting There and Entry

Visitors to SWINGIN’ Under The Stars NYE 2023 are strongly encouraged to use public transport wherever possible. For up-to-date city-wide transport information, visit www.transportnsw.info or check the official www.sydneynewyearseve.com website for updates on transport, including road closures, train and bus information closer to the date of the event.

Primary ticket holders will be sent an email closer to the date of the event with comprehensive instructions on how to enter the venue on the evening. To gain access to SWINGIN’ Under The Stars NYE 2023, all guests must have a valid ticket and photo identification in the form of a driver licence, passport or government issued photo ID.

Doors open at 6:30 pm for all ticket holders. Patrons with tickets to SWINGIN’ Under The Stars NYE 2023 will only be able to enter the Sydney Opera House precinct from 4:00 pm onwards. If your arrival is prior to this time, you will be asked to wait in an assembly area until ticket scanning commences. Running times are approximate and are subject to change.

Yes, seating is included. Attendees will be allocated a specified table and seating. No preferential seating available. All seating is at the venue’s discretion. Individual tickets or group bookings of less than 10 will be subject to venue discretionary seating allocations. Exclusive tables must be booked for a minimum of 10. Bookings under 10 guests may share the table with other guests (unless otherwise advised). Tickets purchased together will be seated together where possible. SWINGIN’ Under The Stars NYE 2023 is for adults aged 18 and over only. Identification will be checked at the door, a valid form of identification will be required. Valid international driver licence will be accepted.
Preparation and Planning

The event will proceed rain, hail or shine. If there are extreme weather conditions, Doltone Hospitality Group will contact you with further information, 48 hours prior to the event. Doltone Hospitality Group will provide a wet weather contingency plan closer to the day of the event. In case of extreme weather preventing the outdoor seated dining experience from proceeding, Doltone Hospitality Group will adjust the offering and provide a sheltered immersive culinary and beverage alternative.

This event is an all-inclusive, except for spirits offerings. If you wish to buy spirits on the evening, contactless payments will be accepted. There are no facilities for cash payments.

SWINGIN’ Under The Stars NYE 2023 is a licensed event. As such, no alcohol can be brought into the venue or into the Sydney Opera House precinct. All visitors transiting through the Sydney Opera House site will be subject to bag checks and prohibited items listed in the Sydney Opera House’s Conditions of Entry will not be permitted. Anyone found with unauthorised alcohol will be asked to leave by security.
